Bangkhen Animal Disease Diagnostic Center enhances academic services through research and modern technology, aiming to make the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kasetsart University, an international veterinary institution for the optimal health of animals, humans, and the environment.

We cultivate knowledge, scientific advancements, and veterinary innovations while developing specialized personnel for the health of animals, humans, and the environment. We lead in advanced animal disease diagnosis with international standards, professionalism, and ethics.

To lead, guide, and serve as a model in creating and applying advanced veterinary knowledge using cutting-edge technology. We aim to diagnose and treat complex diseases with international standards and innovation, ensuring the well-being of animals, humans, and the environment.

Capabilities

  • • Provide comprehensive animal disease diagnostic services utilizing high-efficiency equipment operated by specialized scientists.
  • • Offer a wide range of analytical services, including expert advice on interpreting results, while continuously integrating advanced technologies to enhance analytical potential.
  • • Utilize high-performance instruments capable of analyzing large sample volumes in a short period, ensuring timely delivery of analytical reports.
  • • Operate a Laboratory Information System (LIS) and database, enabling real-time report delivery to users and secure digital archiving.
  • • Maintain continuous personnel development and cross-training systems to effectively operate advanced technologies and consistently improve analytical efficiency.
  • • Conduct analyses using state-of-the-art equipment and modern technology.
  • • Regularly review and update testing instruments and methodologies based on sound academic principles.
  • • Consistently evaluate center operations alongside an academic advisory committee, utilizing customer satisfaction surveys to direct continuous improvements.
  • • Strategically located in an urban area, facilitating convenient and rapid sample drop-offs for clients.
  • • Provide testing services 7 days a week from 7:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
  • • Maintain a vast network of partnerships.

Responsibilities & Workload

  • • Provide laboratory analytical services in clinical pathology, histopathology, molecular diagnostics, microbiology, and zoonotic diseases for both internal and external clients.
  • • Facilitate internship programs for veterinary and veterinary technology students.
  • • Support the academic learning and teaching of veterinary students (DVM and graduate levels).
  • • Offer academic services that support various research initiatives.
  • • Provide animal cell banking services and cell-based testing.
  • • Conduct continuous research and development to optimize disease diagnostic efficiency, advance cell and animal embryo-related studies, and innovate new technologies.
  • • Develop laboratory operations to achieve and maintain international standards (ISO17025:2017 and ISO20387:2018).
