According to the event that the Faculty of Veterinary Science of Kasetsart University had received an order from His Majesty the King Rama IX to provide the work for the dogs under the King’s care at the Klai Kangwon Palace, in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, since 1998, in order to provide an efficient work for the dogs under the King’s care and to benefit the pet owners in the upper southern region.
Kasetsart University therefore had established an animal hospital at Kasetsart University in Hua Hin on an area of 102 rai at Suan Son Beach, with the support of the army. It is considered as the 4th animal hospital under the Faculty of Veterinary Science of Kasetsart University and it has a primary mission of providing academic services to people in the upper southern region. It is also an institution supporting the teaching and research of the Faculty of Veterinary Science of Kasetsart University in addition to the above-mentioned missions, the Animal Hospital of Kasetsart University Hua Hin aims to be the center of veterinary knowledge.
