1906 (B.E.2449)The Department of Silk Crafts, Ministry of Agriculture, employed a foreign veterinary consultant (Dr. Harry S. Leonard) to train for silk technician staff for the period of 3-6 months to eliminate animal diseases with a 2-year contract.

1912 (B.E. 2455)

Major General M.C. Thong Teekayu Thongyai has requested for the approval of the construction of a military sergeant school with 1-year course, whereby Brigadier Luang Sanan Rak Satt and Colonel Luang Sanit Rak Satt had also enrolled in this course.

1913 (B.E. 2456)

The Asawarak Cadet School was upraised the Asawat Medical Army School.

1914-1931 (B.E. 2457-2474)

The government employed Dr. George Joseph Harvey, an American veterinarian, to provide consults to the Ministry of Agriculture and Veterinary Training intensively for 5 generations (the origin of training veterinary), Dr. S.H.L. Woods trained veterinarians for 2 years and Dr. R.P. Jones for 7.

1935 (B.E.2478)

A veterinary department was established as an independent department in Chulalongkorn University for a 4-year program with Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.Sc.) under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Luangchai Asawarak as the department head (announced in the Government Gazette, Edition 52, dated on 21 April 1935) with the cooperation of Major General Thong Teekayu Thongyai,, Brigadier General Sanan Rak Satt, Colonel Luang Sanit Rak Satt, and Lieutenant Colonel Luangchai Asawarak.

1939 (B.E. 2482)

The Veterinary Medicine Program was amended to a 5-year program and the acronym for the degree has been changed SP.B. from year3 graduates onward).

1942 (B.E.2485)

The Veterinary Medicine Department of Chulalongkorn University was transferred to be affiliated with the University of Medicine under the Ministry of Public Health and the status was changed to the Faculty of Veterinary Science with Professor Lieutenant Colonel Luangchai Asawarak as the Dean (announced in the Royal Gazette, Edition 59, Section 16, dated 10 March 1942).

1954 (B.E.2497)

The Faculty of Veterinary Science of University of Medicine was transferred to Kasetsart University under Ministry of Agriculture, announced in the Government Gazette, Edition 71, Section 86, dated December 28, 1954.

1957 (B.E.2500)

The veterinary medicine course was changed from 5 years to 6 years.

1959 (B.E. 2502)

Kasetsart University was transferred from the Ministry of Agriculture to the Office of the Prime Minister.

1967 (B.E. 2510)

A royal decree ordered to establish the Faculty of Veterinary Science in Chulalongkorn University (published in the Government Gazette, Edition 84, Section 102, dated 24 October 1967), whereby the matters of properties, officials, employees and the budget of Kasetsart University related to the Faculty of Veterinary Science, located in Wang Mai Subdistrict, Pathumwan District, were ordered to be transferred to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Chulalongkorn University.

The Faculty of Veterinary Science of Kasetsart University continued its proceeds, whereby Professor Insri Chantarasatit, the chancellor of Kasetsart University, had invited the Director-General of the Department of Livestock Development, namely Professor DVM. Chak Pichainarongsongkram, to take the position of the Dean under the proposal of Professor DVM. Thim Phansiri, who was the secretary general of Kasetsart University and acting dean at the Faculty of Veterinary Science at that time. The Faculty of Veterinary Science Kasetsart University, at the time, consisted of the Office of the Faculty Secretary and 6 departments as follows: Department of Anatomy, Department of Pathology, Department of Pharmacology, Department of Physiology, Department of Medicine and the Department of Surgery.

1968 (B.E.2511)

With the office of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, a 4-story reinforced concrete building and 2 single-story temporary buildings located at the outer yard (at the side of Vibhavadi Rangsit Road), the Faculty of Veterinary Science Kasetsart University began providing animal care services by opening a veterinary care room at a one-story temporary building, which is located next to the 4-story building.

1969 (B.E. 2512)

The Faculty of Veterinary Science relocated the faculty office to the new building on Phaholyothin Road, a 4-story reinforced concrete building. This building later assumed the name "Chakpichainarongsongkram Building" in honor of Professor Chak Pichainarongsongkram, an imperative force in the rehabilitation and development of the faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Kasetsart University after 1967 and some sections of the Large animal hospital building was used for treating small animals in medicine, surgery and radiography.

1972 (B.E. 2515)

Both faculties of Veterinary Medicine were transferred from the Office of the Prime Minister to the Ministry of University Affairs.

1973 (B.E. 2516)

The pathology building was modified, which was a one-story concrete building treating small animals and teach clinical practice. Later in the year 1983, a budget was approved for the construction of a small animal hospital by expanding the pathology building. The completeness of the operations of the Small Animal Hospital was since then increased, and in the year 2000, the services of the Small Animal Hospital were relocated, which was known as Bang Khen Animal Hospital, to the Chalerm Phrakiat 6 Building (Animal hospital and veterinary academic development building), a 9-story reinforced concrete building.

1979 (B.E. 2522)

The courses for 5th and 6th year students were available at Kamphaengsaen Campus, Nakhon Pathom Province, to increase the knowledge of graduates in livestock and the work at Kamphaengsaen Animal Hospital had commenced, with curriculum improvements.

1980 (B.E. 2523)

Nong Pho Animal Hospital started its operation. At first, the Faculty of Veterinary Science had rented a private house (located in an alley opposite of the current animal hospital) as a temporary office and faculty residence according to the agreement with the Nong Pho Dairy Cooperative in providing services to farmers. Presently, Nong Pho Animal Hospital is located at Ban Nong Ri, Ban Luek Subdistrict, Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province, on an area of 16 rai 2 ngas 6 square wah. The Nong Pho Dairy Cooperative Limited under the patronage of His Majesty the King had donated to the Faculty of Veterinary Science to establish an animal hospital to provide services to members of dairy cooperatives.

Divided into government sections with the additional departments of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science.

1990 (B.E. 2533)

The Cabinet has passed a resolution dated on 1 May 1990 to approve the project to increase the graduation of veterinary graduates due to shortage of personnel in veterinary medicine shown in the studies, resulting in the necessity of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Kasetsart University to increase the enrollment of students from 80 to 150 students per year and approval was granted for the project of developing professors of veterinary medicine, both in terms of increasing personnel and teacher development scholarships.

1993 (B.E. 2536)

- Open for master's degree programs in Veterinary Pathology (The Ministry of University Affairs had approved the course on 20 September 1994).

- The Veterinary School under the Department of Livestock was transferred under an associate institution of Kasetsart University and later was changed to a Veterinary Technical College with the Faculty of Veterinary Science overseeing academic matters.

1995 (B.E.2538)

Revision in curriculum of the Bachelor in veterinary medicine with a 6-year curriculum structure: basic subjects: preclinical: clinical equal to 1:2:3.

1996 (B.E.2539)

- Launched the Master of Science Program in Veterinary Anatomy (Ministry of University Affairs Program had approved on December 17, 1993) -3 new departments had been approved, namely the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Department of Parasitology and the Department of Veterinary Public Health Sciences.

1997 (B.E.2540)

The School and Laboratory Building, Faculty of Veterinary Science was opened and used as classrooms and a laboratory for 150 students.

1999 (B.E. 2542)

- The Master of Science Program Branch in Animal Physiology was available (The Ministry of University Affairs had approved the program on August 9, 1995) – The Department of Livestock had transferred the administration of the Veterinary Technical College to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

2000 (B.E. 2543)

The His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building was opened for treatment of sick animals on 14 February 2000 (Animal Hospital and Academic Development Building).

2001 (B.E. 2544)

The Department of Livestock had requested for 4 civil servants to return to their civil services along with transferring supplies to Kasetsart University and announced the return of the state property to the Treasury Department.

2002 (B.E. 2545)

4th revision of the courses of the Faculty of Veterinary Science.

2003 (B.E. 2546)

The Faculty of Veterinary Science had renamed the 4 clinical departments according to the announcement of the Ministry of Education on the division of government in Kasetsart University 2003 dated December 19, 2003 as follows:

2009 (B.E. 2552)

- Launched the Master of Science Program in the Veterinary Biological Sciences (International program) (office of the Higher Education Commission had approved the course on 21 November 2008). The Council of Kasetsart University had approved the change of the name of the Animal Disease Research and Laboratory and Veterinary Research Center to the Veterinary Disease Research and Diagnostics Center (according to the announcement of Kasetsart University Council dated 21 May 2009).

- Animal Hospital Kasetsart University, Hua Hin was completed on 12 June 2009.

2010 (B.E. 2553)

Animal Hospital Kasetsart University, Hua Hin opened for service on 6 July 2010.

2011 (B.E. 2554)

- Faculty of Veterinary Science renamed the Department of Veterinary Public Health Sciences and Diagnostic Services to Department of Veterinary Public Health Sciences (announcement of the Ministry of Education on the division of government in Kasetsart University (5th Edition) 2554 dated 25 July 2011). Kasetsart University Council renamed the Veterinary Research and Diagnostic Center to Veterinary Research and Academic Service Center (according to the announcement of Kasetsart University Council dated 18 October 2011).

- Kasetsart University Council approved the reformation of government division within the Faculty of Veterinary Science in requiring the Veterinary Research and Academic Service Center, Animal Hospital of Kasetsart University Bang Khen, Animal Hospital of Kasetsart University Kamphaengsaen, Animal Hospital of Kasetsart University Nong Pho and the Animal Hospital of Kasetsart University Hua Hin to have an equivalent status to the department (announcement from Kasetsart University Council dated 18 October 2011).

- Doctor of Philosophy Program was available in the Veterinary Biological Sciences (International Program) (Office of the Higher Education Commission Course approved on 21 November 2011).

- Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Valayaluk studied under the Program of Doctor of Philosophy in Veterinary Biological Sciences (International Program) Doctor of Philosophy Program in Bio-Veterinary Sciences (International Program) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Kasetsart University since 1 October 2011.

2012 (B.E.2555)

- Faculty of Veterinary Science was dissolved into Bangkhen Animal Disease Diagnostic Unit and Laboratory of Kamphaengsaen Animal Disease Unit under the Veterinary Research and Academic Service Center Faculty of Veterinary Science (announcement of the Faculty of Veterinary Science dated 27 April 2012). The Bangkhen Laboratory Animal and Kamphaengsaen Laboratory Unit were established as establishments within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (announcement of the Faculty of Veterinary Science dated 27 April 2012).

- Queen Sirikit named the academic and veterinary clinic building of the Faculty of Veterinary Science   "The Her Majesty the Queen’s 80th Birthday Anniversary Building " (according to announcement letter no. 0004.1/30220, dated 13 November 2012).

2013 (B.E. 2556)

- Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Valayaluk gave the name to the Asian Veterinary Technology Exchange and Innovation Center Building of the Faculty of Veterinary Science "Princess Chulabhorn International Conference Center" (according to the announcement letter no. 0011.3/4213, dated 13 February 2013).

- The veterinary services was launched at the Queen Sirikit's 80th Birthday Anniversary building since 14 February 2013.

- The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine course of 2013 was enhanced (Kasetsart University Council approved on 26 February 2013).

- Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Valayaluk was presiding over the opening of the international training program "Asean Veterinary Volunteer Project" on 30 April 2013 at Lecture Roo 505, 5th floor, His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, in the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Kasetsart University, Bang Khen Campus.

- Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Valayaluk gave a special lecture on "Oncology" on 17th and 21st June 2013 at Lecture Roo 505, 5th Floor, His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kasetsart University Bangkhen Campus.

- Commence of the construction of the Chulabhorn International Convention Center building on 16th August 2013 according to the construction contract No. 125/2556 dated 15th August 2013, scheduled to be completed by the 5th August 2015. The building is divided into 4 parts, consisting of the meeting rooms, back rooms and on-call rooms and accommodation rooms with pets with the functioning area of 39,704.50 square meters.

- Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Valayaluk was presiding over the opening of the Animal Hospital of Kasetsart University Hua Hin and placing of the foundation stone at Chulabhorn International Convention Center building on 4th October 2013 at the Animal Hospital of Kasetsart University in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.

- Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Valayaluk was presiding over the opening of the international seminar project on Anesthesia and Pain Management in Pets on November 10, 2013 at Lecture Roo 505, 5th Floor, His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, in the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Kasetsart University, Bang Khen Campus.

- Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Valayaluk placed the foundation stone and lead the opening ceremony of the Her Majesty the Queen’s 80th Birthday Anniversary Building on December 7, 2013, at the Faculty of Veterinary Science of Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus.

- Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Valayaluk bestowed on the Faculty of Veterinary Science on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at meeting room 1 - 2, 8th floor, Her Majesty the Queen’s 80th Birthday Anniversary Building, in the Faculty of Veterinary Science Kasetsart University Bangkhen Campus.

- Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Valayaluk attended the event to praise and congratulate on the occasion of her graduation with Doctor of Philosophy Program in Veterinary Biological Sciences (International Program) on Monday 10 February 2014 at Meeting Room 1, 8th Floor, Her Majesty the Queen’s 80th Birthday Anniversary Building, Faculty of Veterinary Science Kasetsart University Bangkhen Campus.

- Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Valayaluk studied under the program of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in conjunction with the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Veterinary Biological Sciences (International Program), Doctor of Philosophy Program in Bio-Veterinary Sciences (International Program) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Kasetsart University Since 22 May 2014.
