Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Veterinary Clinical Studies

Program Overview

The Master of Science Program in Veterinary Clinical Studies aims to produce graduates with a strong passion for lifelong learning. The program focuses on integrating veterinary health sciences with public health to create international-standard research. We emphasize developing high-caliber researchers to drive national progress in animal health and veterinary public health.

Admission Requirements

Plan A Type A1 (Thesis Only)

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.), Medicine (M.D.), Dentistry (D.D.S.), Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), or equivalent, with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in Science in a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.50, and/or proven research experience with certified publications in related fields.

Plan A Type A2 (Coursework & Thesis)

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.), Medicine (M.D.), Dentistry (D.D.S.), Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), or equivalent.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in Science in a related field (or currently in the final semester) with a minimum GPA of 2.50 (for graduates) or 2.75 (for current students).

Curriculum & Specializations

The program offers diverse fields of study and specialized courses, including:

  • Specializations: Companion Animals, Swine Medicine, Equine Medicine, Wildlife, and Exotic Pets.
  • Featured Courses: Clinical Anesthesiology, Advanced Swine Disease & Diagnosis, Equine Ophthalmology, and Biotechnology for Aquatic Animal Diagnostics.

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

Our curriculum is designed to achieve the following key outcomes:

  • PLO1 (Research & Innovation): Create clinical research to enhance animal health and production efficiency by integrating systematic analytical thinking, publishable at national or international levels.
  • PLO2 (Professional Ethics & Impact): Conduct research in clinical or health sciences in accordance with researcher and veterinary professional ethics, considering environmental impact and economic value.
  • PLO3 (Modern Technology): Effectively utilize Information Technology (IT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in clinical practice and research.
  • PLO4 (Collaboration): Demonstrate exceptional teamwork and constructive academic exchange to achieve collective goals.
