Ph.D. in Veterinary Clinical Studies

Program Overview

Our Ph.D. program is designed to produce doctoral graduates with advanced clinical expertise and high-level skills in animal health. We emphasize the development of international-standard clinical research, innovation, and sustainable development to lead the future of veterinary medicine.

Program Objectives

We aim to cultivate graduates who embody the following qualifications:

  1. Ethical Leadership: Demonstrating high moral standards, professional ethics, and a commitment to lifelong learning and self-development.
  2. Knowledge Creation: Capable of developing new concepts, theories, or original bodies of knowledge while strictly adhering to research and animal welfare ethics.
  3. Clinical Integration: Possessing advanced skills in integrating complex knowledge to solve animal health challenges.
  4. Innovation for Sustainability: Mastering research methodologies focused on clinical innovation and sustainable development.
  5. International Impact: Producing high-quality research and effectively disseminating findings to the global scientific community.

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

  • PLO1: Generate original knowledge and design clinical research protocols that meet the highest academic and ethical standards.
  • PLO2: Produce veterinary clinical research that offers holistic solutions to animal health problems.
  • PLO3: Exhibit strong professional commitment, accountability, and continuous self-improvement in clinical-related practices.
  • PLO4: Utilize advanced Information Technology (IT) for data retrieval and communicate academic knowledge to international audiences.

Admission Requirements

Plan 1.1 (Research-Based for Master’s Graduates)

  • Education: A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Animal Health Sciences or a related field.
  • Research Experience: Applicants with research experience must provide certified publications in related fields.
  • Language Proficiency: English test scores must meet the criteria established by the University Council.

Plan 1.2 (Direct Entry for Bachelor’s Graduates)

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Animal Health Sciences or a related field with an outstanding academic record (Honors).
  • Language Proficiency: English test scores must meet the criteria established by the University Council.
