Ph.D. in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology

Program Overview

Our Ph.D. program is strictly aligned with the National Higher Education Development Plan and the philosophy of Kasetsart University. We emphasize the integration of modern research technologies to generate pioneering knowledge in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology, supporting the strategic educational development of both the university and the nation.

Program Objectives

  1. International Quality: To produce doctoral graduates in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology who meet international standards, serving both public and private sectors.
  2. Global Research Competitiveness: To develop high-caliber researchers whose expertise and contributions are on par with the international scientific community, supporting national research development policies.
  3. Innovation & Public Health: To cultivate researchers capable of creating innovations in pharmacology and toxicology that enhance animal health and public safety, in accordance with academic and professional standards.

Admission Requirements

Plans 1.1 and 2.1 (For Master's Degree Holders)

  • Education: A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Technology, Animal Nursing, Biochemistry, Animal Health Science, Biological Science, or related fields.
  • Language Proficiency: English test scores must meet the criteria established by Kasetsart University.

Plans 1.2 and 2.2 (For Bachelor's Degree Holders)

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in the fields mentioned above, with a strong academic record.
  • Language Proficiency: English test scores must meet the criteria established by Kasetsart University.

General Qualifications (All Plans)

  • Must possess good conduct with no record of serious misconduct.
  • Must not have any mental health conditions or infectious diseases that impede the course of study.
  • Must not have been previously dismissed from any educational institution due to disciplinary action.
  • Must comply with all other university regulations.
